FeaturesWhat makes TIES unique
TIES supports temporal or longitudinal queries that involve search criteria spanning multiple patient observations or events.
For example, you can identify patients who had a dysplastic nevus at least five years before they had a melanoma. Or if you are using TIES for your pathology and radiology documents, you can create chains that include both pathology and radiology documents.
You can create chains of as many patient events in your search criteria as you wish, and the criteria for each patient event can be as complex as you want. Doing this in current clinical systems would require you to 1) locate patients using one of the search criteria and 2) have someone review all other reports in the system for those patients, to see if they match the remaining search criteria. With TIES, this process takes minutes.
