What makes TIES unique

LDAP

The Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) is an application protocol that distributes directory information from an internet protocol network. TIES uses this protocol to support the Microsoft Active Directory. The Active Directory authenticates and authorizes users to install and update software.

TIES allows you to modify the LDAP parameters to create the best LDAP for your research needs. More information about LDAP can be found here.
