Next - TCRN Access

TIES Cancer Research Network (TCRN)

The TIES Cancer Research Network (TCRN) is a national network of interconnected tissue archives. Partners include Augusta University, Roswell Park Cancer Center, University of Pennsylvania, and University of Pittsburgh.

The TCRN only provides access to Pathology data and tissue. You will have access to Radiology data only from the University of Pittsburgh.

TCRN access will allow you to view search results from all the TCRN member institutions that you request access from. However, your study must be approved at each requested TCRN member institution.

Due to regulatory requirements, you must follow additional steps when conducting a TCRN study with biomaterials. You will need to complete the TCRN Specimen and Data Request Form. Once it has been determined that materials are available and can be shared, you will need to complete a Uniform Biological Material Transfer Agreement (UBMTA) before ordering tissue or other biomaterials. You must also agree to pay any fees for use of biomaterials.
